MAY x REBORN Hoodie — Limited Edition Drop

A heavyweight, relaxed-fit hoodie created for the 9KM for 9 Lives community run — a collaboration between MAY and REBORN Gym, Shellharbour raising awareness for the benefits of movement for mental health and raising funds for Lifeline Australia.

The Design

The back reads:

Reborn. Not just in the body. In the mind.

The rebirth is painful. But so is staying the same.

Eagles don’t rise by chance. They rise by change.

 You don’t come back the same.

You come back stronger.

Why The Eagle 

At around 40 years old, the eagle faces its hardest choice.

Its beak is too curved and its feathers become too heavy to fly.

So it climbs a mountain alone and spends 150 days in painful transformation. It breaks its own beak. Plucks its feathers. And waits.

After 150 days: a new beak, new talons, new feathers.

Then it is gifted thirty more years of life.

And they can actually fly higher than they could before the rebirth.

The eagle symbolises rebirth, strength, trust and courage.

A symbol that blends both the values or MAY and REBORN

 
The eagle rendered in a retro, vintage-style paint print — worn-in textures and faded tones that give it the look of a design that's already lived a life. 

Why It Matters
Every hoodie sold contributes directly to Lifeline Australia, supporting crisis intervention and suicide prevention services nationwide — continuing MAY The Label's ongoing $10 per item donation model. This piece was created specifically for the 9KM for 9 Lives event on 9 July, uniting the Shellharbour fitness community and MAY's mental health streetwear following behind a single cause.

Sizing
Available in S, M, L, XL and 2XL This style runs true-to-size with a deliberately relaxed cut — if you like a closer fit, we'd recommend sizing down; for an oversized, streetwear-style silhouette, size up or stick to your usual size. Full body measurements are on the size chart linked at checkout.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold with like colours. Do not bleach, tumble dry, dry clean, or iron directly over the print. Line dry in shade to protect the design and fabric.
